Questions about official Cabell County criminal records belong with the office that created or maintains the document. This private resource cannot retrieve, correct, certify, or expunge a record. Court requests go to the Circuit or Magistrate Clerk, deputy reports go to the Cabell County Sheriff, and custody questions go to Western Regional Jail or WVDCR. A personal fingerprint-indexed history follows the West Virginia State Police process. The contacts below route each request to its proper government custodian.

This Is Not a Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull criminal records, run official background checks, remove or correct a record, or accept expungement filings for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the right government office directly.

The sheriff is not a universal county records counter. Contact the Cabell County Sheriff's Office, 750 Fifth Avenue, Suite 101, Huntington, WV 25701, at 304-526-8663 only for records created or held by that office. The published county page does not state separate records-counter hours, so confirm availability before traveling.
